The Bayernwerk Netz GmbH provides a new and free service platform for all Bayernwerk Netz GmbH customers.

Note: Users of the customer portal can log in to the app using the same login credentials (email address and password).

1) Meter reading submission

With the app, you can manually submit the required meter reading or use OCR recognition to transmit it.

• What is OCR?
• OCR stands for "Optical Character Recognition" and is referred to simply as text recognition in German. This means that the Bayernwerk Netz app reads the meter reading in numerical format using OCR software and your phone's camera. Simply hold your camera in front of your meter, and your reading will be recognized within seconds (no need to take a photo).

You can then submit the captured meter reading and receive a confirmation via email within minutes.

2) My meter readings

Here you can view all meter readings that have been recorded in our billing system.

3) Consumption history

In your consumption history, you will find all your consumptions listed graphically and in tabular form, except for voluntary readings, known as interim readings.

4) My area

Here you can view your personal data as well as frequently asked questions and answers about the app.

5) Messages

You have chosen online communication! All messages are included under "Your mailbox." For additional assistance, you can also contact support.

6) More (Fault information, house connections, etc.)

Usage:

• Step 1 = Download the app
  Download the app here from the Google Play Store.
• Step 2 = Registration in the app
  Under the link "Register," you can create a new customer account, which you can use for our customer portal and the Bayernwerk Netz app. You will need your contract account and business partner number. If you already have a customer portal account, you can proceed directly to step 3.
• Step 3 = Login to the app
  Login to the app with your credentials and get started. Already registered customer portal users can log in to our app using the same credentials.
